| Creator | Huggins; Sir William (1824-1910); British astronomer |
| Recipient | Larmor; Sir Joseph (1857-1942); Irish theoretical physicist |
| Date | 30 October 1905 |
| Description | Larmor will be glad to hear that Rayleigh has accepted nomination. Huggins thought it his duty to send Larmor's letter of the 27th to [Archibald] Geikie and the Treasurer [Alfred Bray Kempe]. He agrees entirely with Geikie's letter and has sent it to Larmor. He would be grieved if Larmor carried through his intention of bringing the matter before Council. |
