DescriptionThanks Larmor for referencing, in a letter to the 'The Times', the work that Church did at the [Palace of] Westminster. Church then discusses the technical aspects of the restoration of the Chapter House interior stonework. He includes an extract, found in the Royal Society archives, from an inquiry from the Dean and Chapter of St Paul's [Cathedral] in 1769, seeking advice on protecting the cathedral from lightning.
