| Title | Letter from Arch [Archibald] Geikie, Haslemere, to [Joseph] Larmor |
| Creator | Geikie; Sir Archibald (1835-1924); British geologist and historian |
| Recipient | Larmor; Sir Joseph (1857-1942); Irish theoretical physicist |
| Date | 16 December 1909 |
| Description | [Richard Tetley] Glazebrook has written twice and telephoned all within twenty four hours. geikie has gathered the general drift of his alterations, but Geikie agrees with Larmor that an official letter of Council should not be altered without urgent necessity. Keeping back the Treasury letter until Glazebrook's memorandum is ready is as far as they can go. He will write to Glazebrook to that effect and he can state his case in the memrandum, if he thinks it so important. If they find any discrepencies, they can reconsider the matter. He notes Larmor's possible attendance at Glzaebrook's committee. |
