Date1 November 1909
DescriptionGlazebrook has sent [Lewis Fry] Richardson's dam paper to the Royal Society ['The approximate arithmetical solution by finite differences of physical problems involving differential equations, with an application to the stresses in a masonry dam']. Richardson has endeavoured to follow Larmor's suggestions from his letter of a year ago, and Glazebrrok encloses this as a reminder [not present]. He hopes the paper can be printed as it is. Richardson has now left to take up a business position in Newcastle. Modifications to the original manuscript are marked in red.
