TitleLetter from Arch [Archibald] Geikie, the Royal Society, Burlington House, London, to [Joseph] Larmor
CreatorGeikie; Sir Archibald (1835-1924); British geologist and historian
RecipientLarmor; Sir Joseph (1857-1942); Irish theoretical physicist
Date13 November 1915
DescriptionThe settlement of the price of the Proceedings is urgent and the Officers should meet to discuss it without delay. He has asked [Robert] Harrison to gather the Officers on Thursday. Geikie fears that if they keep the price down by excluding papers, they will have 'authors howling at us for the delay'. The botanists are forsaking the Transactions for the Proceedings and with the plates required, this will make the production costs mount up.
