| Title | Letter from G H [Godfrey Harold] Hardy, Trinity [College], to [Joseph] Larmor |
| Creator | Hardy; Godfrey Harold (1877-1947); British mathematician |
| Recipient | Larmor; Sir Joseph (1857-1942); Irish theoretical physicist |
| Date | c.1918-1919 |
| Description | Hardty intends to propose the question of discontinuation of the Transactions, at an early representative meeting. He and [Ernest William] Hobson would consent to a meeting early in Easter term if Larmor would. That would allow a Journal to be founded and published by Michaelmas 1919. They disagree on the Transactions but an agreement on how the question should be decided should be possible. He discusses dates further, and asks Larmor to write if he agrees. |
