| Title | Letter from V [Viktor von] Lang, Vienna, to [Joseph] Larmor |
| Creator | Lang; Viktor von (1838-1921); Austrian chemist |
| Recipient | Larmor; Sir Joseph (1857-1942); Irish theoretical physicist |
| Date | 11 July 1908 |
| Description | He offers excuses for not answering Larmor's letter as he hoped to be able to give Larmor more information. He thinks that [Frederick] Soddy is right about the parens [?] of radium resting in the Laugen (lies). Radiochemical manipulations are conducted by Dr Schneider and more information may be got from him. The Vienna Academy would support a demand for such lies [alkalis?], and the support of the English Ambassador would help. The new Minister at the Ministry of Public Works would seize any opportunity to show his importance. |
