Recipient | Larmor; Sir Joseph (1857-1942); Irish theoretical physicist |
Date | 21 September 1911 |
Description | He will send Larmor a paper for the first meeting of the Royal Society in the next session, 'On the occurance of peculiar boat-shaped flint implements in the stone bed at the base of the Suffolk crags indicating the existence of Man in the Pliocene Age'. This will be accompanied by drawings and specimens and Lankester thinks it 'the most important discovery in biological science with which I have ever been concerned'.
