Description | He sent Larmor a card of Fitzgerald's and he wrote to him to say the triplet [Zeeman effect] was got without analysis, but would become a single of double according to azimuth [?] of nicol [prism]. Lodge encloses his reply [not present]. Lodge had worked with a short cadmium spark, tp examine the simple Maxwellian distribution and it did as well as any of the others. |
