DescriptionMilne has just bought a secind hand copy of the 1900edition of 'Aether and Matter', with a compliments slip from Larmor inserted. He asks Larmor to write two or three lines about the book for Milne ot paste into this copy. He asks if [William] Whewell did something to explain the tides in the North Sea. Milne has an article in 'Nature' which will explain nebula recession 'without the absurdity'.
