| Title | Letter from F G [Francis Grant] Ogilvie, The Science Museum, South Kensington, London, to [Joseph] Larmor |
| Creator | Ogilvie; Sir Francis Grant (1858-1930); applied mathematician and museum director |
| Recipient | Larmor; Sir Joseph (1857-1942); Irish theoretical physicist |
| Date | 11 April 1910 |
| Description | He thanks Larmor for informing him of his inability to attend the S.P.C. [Solar Physics Committee] meeting. [William Henry Mahoney] Christie is ill and cannot attend for several weeks. [William de Wiveleslie] Abney is abroad and Ogilvie gives a list of those who could attend a future meeting, suggesting 27 April. [Joseph Norman] Lockyer's report for 1909 will be sent out with the meeting notice and an agenda item will concern 'the removal from South Kensington'. He thinks that the Observatory should go to Cambridge. He will get a written opinion from Christie although he already has an interview memorandum. |
