| Title | Letter from E [Ernest] Rutherford, 17 Wilmslow Road, Withington, Manchester, to [Joseph] Larmor |
| Creator | Rutherford; Ernest; Baron Rutherford of Nelson (1871-1937); New Zealand physicist |
| Recipient | Larmor; Sir Joseph (1857-1942); Irish theoretical physicist |
| Date | 14 February 1910 |
| Description | He will not send the abstract of the paper until he goes to London. [Ernest] Marsden's paper is ready but his abstract is too brief and he is sending it back for revision. Rutherford hopes to bring two or three of his people down with him, including [Bertram Borden] Boltwood, who is 'a fine fellow'. If Larmor is dining at the Royal Society Club after the meeting, Rutherford will stay overnight, joining him and bringing Boltwood as a guest. He asks Larmor if the dinner is on and if he could send three cards of admission to the Royal Society meeting. |
