| Description | Perry wishes to assure [William McFadden] Orr, through Larmor, that London authorities know nothing of any changes to studies at the Royal College of Science in Dublin. Larmor's letter was the first information he had. Originally there was no mathematical teaching at either at Dublin or the London College of Science. [Robert Stawell] Ball had it placed on the curriculum in Dublin and London followed suit. Perry is endeavouring to get Dr. Willis promoted from Assistant Professor to Professor of Mathematics. |
