The reptiles are: Daboia russelii [Russell's viper]; Naja tripudians [Indian cobra]; Bungarus fasciatus [banded krait]; and Ptyas musosis [oriental ratsnake]. Each pair of drawings is headed "Plate" but with no number, title or artist information. The number "3" is pencilled in several places and the key is similarly corrected. |
