Description144 positive photographic prints of cloud forms that have been; to the Glory of God their Creator and the wonderment of learned men. As recorded by instantaneous photographs taken at Clova, Ripon from 10 March 1894 to 13 July 1895 Arranged in strict chronological sequence. 'Untouched' copies all of them executed by Messrs Eyre and Spottiswood with their patent Woodbury process of photographic printing from the original small glass negatives 3 or 4 inches broad taken by Charles Piazzi Smyth with a few written practical particulars supplied on the right hand lateral margin of each large photograph concerned. The whole followed up by a special continuous day to day meteorological journal for the entire period through which the photographs of this volume extends.
