DescriptionHas heard from Lord Morton that he is indebted to Folkes for securing Hope-Weir the honour of admission to the Royal Society. Sends his thanks and apologises that he was not be able to attend the next Society meeting as the House of Commons sat until late that day and he left for Scotland soon after. He asks to be enrolled in absentia and promises to pay if Mr Hawksby will let him know what is due for his admission
