TitleCopy letter, Percy George Hamnall Boswell, to Dr. John D. Solomon, c/o Barclay's Bank Limited, Kampala, Uganda
Date29 October 1935
DescriptionHe has deferred replying until the rush of term had subsided and Solomon's second letter has arrived. He was amused at Solomon's enquiry about whether Boswell was making a mountain out of a molehill. He warned Solomon just before he left, not because of scandal or his reception, but because the work of the Expedition might not be effective, and Solomon's time wasted. O'Brien's monthly reports struck him as being feeble so far. Solomon's doubts about the pluvial period are intriguing and Boswell looks forward to his later conclusions. He asks if Solomon could give instructions for the extra 25 copies of his paper on the Westleton Beds, sent to his rooms in error, to be forwarded to the College.
