TitleLetter, Miles Burkett, Merton House, Grantchester, Cambridge, to Percy George Hamnall Boswell
Date12 November [1935]
DescriptionRumour has it that Boswell is reluctant to come to the proposed round-table conference on the Leakey affair: 'the best thing which could happen would be for the lad to face the music, stood up to it like man, take his trouncing and then carry on'. There may be some mitigation and there would be general satisfaction. If not, rumours will be to his detriment and he has many enemies. Does not Boswell think it would clear the air? Leakey would like the matter ventilated and done with.
