TitleLetter, Archibald Vivian Hill, Secretary, the Royal Society, Burlington House, London, to Percy George Hamnall Boswell
Date15 June 1936
DescriptionThe manuscript of Leakey's book on the Oldoway finds has been received. Leakey has enclosed a letter from Boswell stating that he supports the grant application. Leakey is applying for £200. This will be considered at Council of the Royal Society on 9 July where Seward will bring it forward. It would be desirable to have a statement by an expert before the application is discussed but Hill understands that Boswell is overworked. Perhaps Boswell could recommend a reviewer to inform Council whether the work is suitable for assistance.
