TitleLetter, Edward James Wayland, P.O.Box 9, Entebbe, to Percy George Hamnall Boswell
Date12 October 1936
DescriptionHe will learn about John Solomon's theories in a week or two, as he will be seeing Archdeacon Owen, to whom Solomon has explained them. O'Brien threatens to return to Uganda, but he will be undeceived if he thinks he can do what he likes. Licenses to dig will not be granted to a purely private expedition without any substantial backing. Minerals are 'going strong'. He was delighted to see Jones, but it was a pity his time was so short - he could have been shown some geology if he had a week's leave.
