Title | Letter from Maria Callcott, Kensington Gravel Pits, to Mrs [Elizabeth Martha] Hatchett, Belle Vue House, Chelsea |
Creator | Callcott [née Dundas; other married name Graham]; Maria, Lady Callcott (1785-1842); British traveller and author |
Recipient | Hatchett [née Collick]; Elizabeth Martha (1756-1837); British |
Date | 18 April [no year] |
Description | She asks if Mrs Hatchett could come just two days before they will dine with the Hatchetts, as if they do not catch Mr [Francis] Chantrey before the [Royal] Academy dinner they will not catch him at all. She also has one of her sisters, Miss Graham, visiting for a couple of days and Maria wishes her to enjoy pleasant society, therefore the Hatchetts might come to dine on Monday 26th. She hopes Mrs Hatchett's grandson continues to improve. |
