Their mutual friend Tom Smith is 'a miserable wreck'. Reminiscences of Hatchett's father-in-law and Crosdill and their 'unlucky coldness'. Taylor's son is in the secretary's office at Chelsea Hospital and Taylor offers an introduction. |
