| Description | Subjects of correspondence include photography of the samples, the opening of the samples, television coverage, and principle investigators wishing to analyse surface samples, as well as a copy of the log covering the period after Colin Pillinger has left Houston 16-19 December 1974, handwritten notes of examination of the samples, processing of contact soil sampling devices from the Office of the Curator, and multiple dated and annotated copies of the sample processing procedures.
Also from 9 June 2003 is a printout of an email with an attached photograph of Judy H Allton, member of Johnson Space Centre curatorial staff, who assisted with the Apollo 16 surface sampler. This is an outlier, all other records 12 November 1974 - 4 March 1975.
