Description | He is posting a revised and corrected version of 'the immortal work' [Soap Bubbles] to Larmor. Asks Larmor to look at it, if he has time, first reading the preface to the second edition. Afterwards Boys asks him to read the chapter on colours v thickness of bubbles. New material begins at page 103 and he recommends the later chapters. Larmor should not judge the illustrations by this proof, but Boys is pleased with the colour plate. |
