Creator | Weydlich; Titus de (fl.1890s); engineer |
Recipient | Boys; Sir Charles Vernon (1855-1944); British physicist and inventor |
Date | 11 January 1893 |
Description | Weydlich would be grateful to have some information on how to fix the quartz filaments into electrical measuring devices. In particular, he asks for advice on the technique where suspensions use two fibres, the filament being bent in two over a hook. It has been tried at the Institut, but the filament always breaks.
