Description | Meeting Wych reminded Atkinson of Boys's enquiry on the effect of spring sag in a watch. He passed the query on to Mr Otto, who in turn asked Paul Ditisheim. He forwarded Andrade's book and two papers by Keelhoff. He discusses Keelhoff's work, concluding that his dynamics depart from reality, before the work of other clockmakers and the mathematics of timekeeping, including Hope Jones and Sampson.
