Title | Letter from Sir Eustace Henry William Tennyson d'Eyncourt, Carters Corner Farm, Hailsham, Sussex, to Geoffrey Vernon Boys |
Date | 23 February 1944 |
Description | Thanks Boys for his letter. He has not been to London, having been ill after a journey to Newcastle and back. He is sorry to hear that Boys has to go into hospital for an operation, knowing well what it means. He should not worry about the President's Address [of the Institution of Naval Architects] or any other business. D'Eyncourt describes the steps he will take to help in London. He asks if Mrs Boys could inform him of G V Boys's progress. |
