| Description | He delayed in answering her letter in hope of finding out arrangements for presenting the medal to Mr. [Thomas] Preston. He has not yet found out but is confident that e will be able to carry out their wishes. He would undertake the commission with pleasure, but also sadness. He expresses pleasure in the recipient of the award, and is pleased that Preston has had a spell of improvement without 'dreadful relapses'. He hopes that Preston will mend and continue his good work. |
