DescriptionView of the Kawésqar [Alacaluf] huts just above the beach at Puerto Edén. The hut on the left has a washing attached to it, draped with clothes. It is a kind of tent, with animal skins and fabrics covering a wicker frame. The hut on the right is the main accommodation hut, with wooden walls and a corrugated iron roof. A figure can be seen leaning against the side of the main hut, with a number of dogs visible throughout the area.
