DescriptionView of Monte Tarn, a small mountain 70km south of Punta Arenas, from the restored fort of Fuerte Bulnes around 10km away. The wavy shoreline of the Strait of Magellan can be seen towards the left edge of the image. The mountain was famously climbed by a group from the second Beagle expedition, including Charles Darwin, in February 1834.
