| Description | A large Berberis darwinii (Darwin's barberry) plant grows in a clearing with large grasses and other shrubs nearby. The plant is in bloom, showing its distinctive orange flowers. Recorded by Charles Darwin in 1835 during his voyage of the Beagle, the species is named in his honour. |
