DescriptionHe apologises for omitting to send a copy of his book. He now send it as a Christmas gift and when he is in town he will write her name in it. If her father is in town, she is to tell him that Hall will write on [expressed in a series of thumbnail sketches] planets, sextants, clocks. pendulums, Earth's magnetism, telescopes and scales. He offers his respects to Mrs. [Mary Frances] Kater.
