DescriptionHe was sorry to hear from Dr [Thomas] Young that Kater had been indisposed and prevented from seeing him. Ørsted has been confined to his room and cannot see his friends before his departure. He takes his leave, saying that 'the hours I have spent in your house will always be a very pleasing remembrance to me'. In a postscript, he asks that [Christopher] Hanteen's magnetic box is given to the bearer.
