Description | Read to the Medical Students Debating Society on 14 November 1835. Revised and read at King's College London Medical and Science Society in June 1839 with addition of cases. The primary cause of paraplegia discussed is tuberculosis (TB). Some of the 1839 additions have been written on the reverse of letter addres sheets directed to William Bowman at King's College, some sections of text are crossed through but still legible and there are pencil notations.
