OtherInfo | Waterhouse's particular interest lay with mutability of fortunes in particulary well-known lines of ancestry. On of his last works on this topic was published in 1667 as 'A Short Narrative of the Late Dreadful Fire in London'. His manner of sociological analysis can be regarded in the same vein as the work of political economists, such as John Graunt (FRS 1663). During the Interregnum years, he was resident in Oxford, apparently for the use of the public Bodleian library there. |
