OtherInfo | As a royalist, Quatremain followed the court into exile until the Restoration, where he worked as a physician. After this, he practiced primarily in Lewes, Sussex. During the plague in the 1660s, he went to York although when attending the Oxford session, Quatremain was appointed to the committee for the prevention of infection's spread. He invested in land reclamation schemes which were generally unprofitable. |
