OtherInfoDespite being proposed and elected to the Royal Society, he was never admitted and was not active in the Society's work. After his death, the generosity of his bequests were noted and included funds towards the rebuilding of St Paul's Cathedral, establishing a grammar school in Cambridge, as well as a trust for apprenticing poor children at Soham.
