OtherInfoBest known for discovering a class of now eponymous fluids — Boger fluids. These are constant viscosity elastic fluids that behave as both liquids and solids. David’s research has made a significant impact on the petroleum, environmental management, food and mineral industries worldwide.
Boger fluids are used in the custom design of fluids, including methods to improve inks for inkjet printers and the delivery of insecticide chemicals, as well as entirely new drug delivery systems. David’s work on fluid flow has become an important component of nanotechnology and he is a consultant for more than 90 companies around the world.
