Description | Strutt is directed to request that Seymour would give instructions for the striking of the Royal Society's Copley, Rumford, Davy and Darwin medals.
They will be required for presentation on 30th November and the names are; for the Copley Edward Frankland FRS, for the Rumford James Dewar FRS, and for the Davy Peter [annotated as changed to Per] Theodor Cleve. The Darwin Medal is to be silver and Strutt provides the inscription. Cases will be required. |
