Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster |
Date | 12 July 1895 |
Description | Rix sees in this weeks 'Nature' Mr Basset is still worrying about the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' being altered in form. In view of this and other letters which appeared last week, Rix wonders if it would be advisable to send some communication to 'Nature' that the old form of the 'Phil. Trans.' is to be retained.
Foster should bear in mind that the proof of the Council Minutes is in his hands. Rix has written to: the 'Electrophone', Dean Farrar, Mr Wheatley, Professor Edgeworth, Dr Buchan and Professor Hartley, but there remain some letters for Foster to write. Encloses a letter to Professor [Arthur William] Rucker for Foster to sign [not attached]. |
