Title | Copy letter from Arthur William Rucker, to Professor John Ambrose Fleming, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 20 January 1897 |
Description | Rucker reminds Fleming that he stated he would read his paper once he knew the day appointed, which, as no preference was expressed, is now scheduled for 28th with a notice sent to 'Nature'.
Hopkinson's paper, on a similar subject, is listed for the same date. Rucker has now heard that Fleming left a verbal message that he does not wish to come before 4 February, so he asks that Fleming send a telegram the following morning to state whether he can attend on 28 February. He states that it would be a pity if they had to divert from the advertised arrangements. |
