Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Thomas George Bonney, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 8 February 1897 |
Description | Harrison returns Professor [William Johnson] Sollas's letter [not attached], and states that he believes he understands the corrections he wishes made to the figures, but fears that it will necessitate remaking the blocks as they are zinc blocks rather than woodcuts, and so could not be completed by Thursday. So, the cuts will have to go as they are for the meeting, and they will consider whether it is worth making new blocks for its publication in 'Proceedings of the Royal Society'. Harrison asks that Bonney look over the matter with him on Thursday so that they can settle the question.
He has also received Bonney's further proof with two extra corrections, which Mr White has transferred to their proof, and so he returns Bonney's. |
