In reply to your post-card, the paper by Sir William Siemens of February 14, 1867, occurs in vol. xv of the "Proceedings [of the Royal Society]", pages 367-369, but the word "dynamo-electric-machine" does not occur in the paper at all. The term used is "electro-magnetic machine".
