Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Michael Foster, Secretary of the Royal Society |
Date | 17 May 1897 |
Description | Harrison presumes the address to the Queen must be circulated amongst the Council before Thursday. Professor [Arthur William] Rucker has made some suggestions for verbal alterations, which are marked in pencil and Harrison has had the address set up in type with Rucker's amendments. Encloses the original and copy [not attached] and shall be much obliged for a telegram first thing the next morning to say if Foster accepts the amendments.
Time is short and if, as Harrison presumes, the address is to be illuminated, they must send it off immediately after Thursday's meeting.
Annotated by hand that Harrison thinks Foster still has Professor Lankester's letter about Warren's paper [remaining annotation very poorly copied and illegible]. |
