Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor George Carey Foster, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 28 May 1897 |
Description | The Secretaries have instructed Harrison to refer to Foster as Chairman of the Library Committee, an application received through Mr G J Symons, for the loan of a copy of a tract by William Borough of 1581.
The tract is rare and though the Society has two copies both are bound in volumes with other tracts. The applicant is apparently in Berlin and it is not usual to let the rarer of the Society's books go abroad, excepting under very special circumstances. |
