Title | Copy letter from Arthur William Rucker, to Thomas Edward Stanton, [Fellow of the Royal Society] |
Date | 31 May 1897 |
Description | With reference to the printed letter Rucker sent to Stanton last week, Rucker is desired by the Committee of Papers to say that, before proceeding with the printing of the paper, 'On the Passage of Heat between Metal Surfaces and Liquids in contact with them', they think it necessary to call on Rucker to have the plate accompanying the paper redrawn, before they send it to the printer.
For the purposes of publication it would be an improvement if the empirical formula on page 26 were omitted, and the division of the paper into parts one and two abandoned. |
