Title | Copy letter from Arthur William Rucker, to William Edward Ayrton, [Fellow of the Royal Society] |
Date | 31 May 1897 |
Description | Rucker writes to inform Ayrton that it was decided to let Drake & Gorham make the suggested changes as no time is to be lost if they are to be 'all right' by the Soiree. The bigger question of a permanent supply of an alternating current was postponed, Harrison being instructed to obtain estimates. As the latter work would have to be done in the vacation there is no great hurry. |
