Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Arthur William Rucker |
Date | 5 February 1898 |
Description | The enclosed letter [not enclosed] from Professor Neumayer arrived this morning. When Rucker has read it, returm it to Harrison to be placed with the other Antarctic papers. Wishes to know the address to send Mr Murray's paper. [illegible handwriting].
Professor G H Darwin believes the reports on Professor Forsyth's paper are so decisive that Harrison can begin setting it up at once. This requires Rucker concurrance.
Heard that a Committee meeting had been arranged to be held [at the Royal Society] today and did not know anything about it. Thinks whoever arranged it should be told to give due notice in the future to Harrison. |
