Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Percy Carlyle Gilchrist, Fellow of the Royal Society, Frognal Bank, Finchley Road, Hampstead, N.W. |
Date | 3 October 1898 |
Description | With reference to Gilchrist's card of the 2 [October], no paper has been read before the Society this year on the liking of spiders for music. He does not know of any recent paper on the subject but there was an article in Nature, vol 57, page 356, on 'Stridulation in some African Spiders', abridged from an article my Mr R I Pocock in the 'Zoologist' 15 January. If of interest he would be happy to send the number of 'Nature'. |
