| Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to G J Shaw Lefevre, Fellow of the Royal Society, 18 Bryanston Square, W. |
| Date | 27 February 1899 |
| Description | Referring to the object of Lefevre's visit the other day, Harrison finds that the rule requiring the consent of Council to the postponement of the admission of a new Fellow is of universal application. In order to place Lefevre's position in regular order it is desirable that the Council should have a request from Lefevre for formal leave to postpone his admission beyond the statutory limit of four meetings from election. |
